FAQ
Will this preserve my exact Word formatting?
No — this is not a pixel-perfect Microsoft Word rendering engine. It converts your document's text, headings, paragraphs, lists, tables, and images into HTML and then to PDF, which preserves the substance of most everyday documents well but will not reproduce every advanced Word feature (complex text boxes, tracked changes, exotic styles) exactly.
What file types are supported?
Modern .docx files. The older binary .doc format is not supported — save the file as .docx in Word (or a compatible editor) first.
Is my document uploaded anywhere?
No. The document is parsed and converted entirely inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to any server.
What happens with an unsupported feature?
An unsupported element is skipped or simplified rather than breaking the conversion — you'll get a usable PDF of the parts that could be converted, and it's worth reviewing the result against the original for anything unusual.
