FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?

No. The PDF is opened and rendered entirely inside your browser tab using PDF.js. Nothing about the file or its content is sent to any server.

What resolution should I choose?

150 DPI is a good default for on-screen use; choose 300 DPI for print-quality output. Higher DPI produces larger, sharper images and takes longer to render, especially on a large PDF.

Can I convert only some pages?

Yes — choose "selected pages" to pick individual pages, or "page range" to enter something like 1-5,8,10-12.

What happens with a very large PDF?

Very large or very high-page-count PDFs use more browser memory to render at high resolution. If a page fails to render, you'll see a clear error for that page rather than a frozen tab.

Does this work for scanned PDFs?

Yes — PDF to JPG rasterizes each page as an image regardless of whether the page contains real text or a scanned image, since it renders the visual page itself.
