What's the difference between 'remove all spaces' and 'normalize whitespace'?

'Remove all spaces' deletes every literal space character. 'Normalize whitespace' instead collapses runs of spaces/tabs to one space and trims each line, which usually looks cleaner for prose.

Will this remove my line breaks?

No mode here touches line breaks except 'remove spaces around line breaks', which only trims spaces/tabs immediately next to a line break — the break itself stays.

Can I remove spaces but keep my paragraph structure?

Yes — use 'remove spaces, keep line breaks' to strip every space and tab while leaving every line break exactly where it was.
