FAQ

What is standard ASCII?

Standard ASCII covers decimal values 0 to 127 — the basic Latin letters, digits, punctuation, and a few control codes. Values above 127 are still valid Unicode code points, just not standard ASCII.

What happens if I convert an accented letter or emoji?

It converts to its Unicode code point, which will be a number above 127. The tool notes when your output includes non-ASCII values rather than rejecting them.

What happens with an invalid code, like a letter or a number that's too large?

Invalid tokens are skipped and listed so you know exactly what wasn't converted, instead of the whole conversion silently failing.
