Resize an image to exact pixel dimensions

Upload a photo, pick one or more target sizes — an Instagram story, a LinkedIn banner, a YouTube thumbnail, or a custom size you type in — then drag the crop box to frame the shot. Every export comes out at the exact pixel dimensions the platform expects, so nothing is stretched, letterboxed, or auto-cropped badly when you upload it. The image is processed entirely in your browser; it is never sent to a server.

Custom aspect ratios and print sizes

The Custom size tab takes either an aspect ratio (type 3 : 2 or 21 : 9 and the crop box locks to it) or exact dimensions. Exact dimensions accept pixels, inches, or centimetres — switch to inches or centimetres and set a DPI (72 for web, 300 for print) to size artwork for something physical like a flyer or a podcast cover; the DPI is saved in the downloaded PNG or JPG, so print and layout apps open it at the right physical size. If any size needs more pixels than the area you cropped, the tool warns you that it will be enlarged and may look soft. You can name a custom size and it stays in the list for the rest of your session so batch exports are one click.

Batch export

Tick several sizes and use Download ZIP to get them all at once, packaged in your browser with no upload. Every file is exactly the size in its name (for example my-cover-1080x1080.jpg): sizes with a different shape from your crop box are cut from the centre of your crop. To frame one size differently, make it the active size, adjust the crop and download it on its own. Filenames are de-duplicated automatically.

Common questions

  • Does my image get uploaded anywhere? No. All cropping, resizing, and zipping happen in your browser using the canvas API.
  • JPG or PNG? Use JPG for photos (smaller files, adjustable quality) and PNG when you need a lossless image or transparency.
  • Why does my export look blurry? The target size is bigger than the part of the original you cropped, so pixels had to be invented. Start from a higher-resolution image or choose a smaller size.
  • Can I rotate? Yes — rotate in 90° steps, zoom, and reposition the crop box before exporting.
