FAQ

Is this generator powered by AI?

No. It uses a deterministic, rule-based template engine — the same inputs always produce the same set of variations. It is built so a future AI-assisted mode could be added later, but nothing here is AI-generated today.

How many headlines does a Google Ads responsive search ad need?

Google Ads currently allows up to 15 headlines per responsive search ad, each capped at 30 characters, and recommends providing several distinct ones so its system can test combinations — check the current Google Ads Help for the latest limits, since Google can change them.

Why did some categories produce no headline?

A template is only used when every piece of information it needs was actually provided — for example a "local" headline needs a location. Leave a field blank and templates that depend on it are simply skipped rather than showing something inaccurate.

Does a higher character count mean a better headline?

No — this tool flags a headline as over the limit so it won't be rejected by Google Ads, but length by itself says nothing about how well a headline will perform. Google Ads' own auto-generated headlines and A/B testing remain the most reliable way to find out.

Can I edit a generated headline before using it?

Yes — every variation is plain text you can copy and adjust freely. Treat these as a fast starting point, not a final, unreviewed ad.
